Abstract

This study examines the strategic–financial alignment of a Peruvian mining company using a data-driven analytical approach. Through semi-structured interviews with industry experts and the application of structured impact and alignment matrices, the research evaluates how key organizational processes support strategic and financial objectives. Results indicate a high level of alignment, suggesting coherent integration of financial planning, risk management, operational efficiency, and sustainability objectives. The findings highlight the relevance of information-based management and technological tools, such as digital control systems, automated processes, and strategic dashboards, in strengthening decision-making, improving performance, and supporting innovation within the mining sector.
