Author Guidelines
Article Submission Procedure
The journal Economic Innovation & Technological Business (EITB) accepts original articles that align with the journal's core topics. Articles must be written in British English and must be unpublished, meaning they should not have been previously published or under review in another journal. During the review process, the article cannot be simultaneously reviewed by another journal.
Authors of articles published in this journal should not submit another article for review until at least one year has passed since the publication of their previous article.
The journal follows plagiarism detection policies. Every manuscript received is checked for originality using plagiarism detection software.
Manuscript Submission Instructions
Manuscripts must be submitted in British English and in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice (.odt), or RTF formats. The editorial team will confirm the manuscript submission.
Authorship Declaration
Along with the anonymized manuscript, authors must submit an Authorship Declaration in the "Comments for the Editor" section. In this declaration, authors must specify the criteria used to determine the order of authors and detail each author's specific contributions to the article. This declaration must be signed by all authors.
Review Process
- Initial Submission: Authors should submit the manuscript according to the submission platform instructions. The journal will perform an initial evaluation to ensure the manuscript complies with the submission guidelines.
- Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial evaluation will undergo a peer review process. Reviewers will assess the quality, originality, relevance, and contribution of the article to the field of study.
- Editorial Decision: After the peer review, the editorial team will make a decision regarding the manuscript: acceptance, acceptance with minor revisions, major revision, or rejection. Authors will be notified of the decision.
- Revisions: If revisions are required, authors must submit the revised manuscript within the established deadline. Revisions should be clearly justified in a letter to the editors.
- Publication: Once approved for publication, the article will be included in the next available issue of the journal. Authors will receive a notification with the publication date.
Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.
An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.
